Why Choose Evan Page as Your Expert?

With 45 years of experience, Evan Page offers a rare combination of technical mastery and legal insight.

“The land expert, in making a survey or in forming an opinion as to title, value, or location of property, applies law in the same way as a lawyer who is drafting deeds.”   John Briscoe, Surveying the Courtroom

  • Specialized Knowledge: Deep expertise in water boundaries, boundary law & principles, and title history.

  • Integrity-Driven: We provide honest assessments. If the facts of a case are not favorable, we will tell you upfront rather than encouraging expensive litigation with a poor chance of success.

  • Recognized Authority: Evan has presented dozens of educational sessions at state surveying conferences and other venues across the West, receiving many repeat invitations.

  • The Witness Role: We bridge the gap between technical data and legal principles so that a judge or jury can plainly understand the facts and issues. The Forensic Role: We provide Survey Peer Reviews to examine whether a survey met the appropriate “standard of care.” (Evan Page’s report format is the suggested model for the California Board’s Technical Expert’s Manual).

Note on Scope: We generally do not accept cases involving modern GPS machine guidance for heavy construction or large-scale remote sensing mapping where the primary issue is the technology rather than the boundary law or field and office practices.
