Selkirk-Cabinet Land Surveying offers a broad set of land surveying services but specializes in complicated boundary surveys, boundary disputes, and expert services for the attorneys of landowners.

Selkirk-Cabinet Land Surveying offers all its land surveying services throughout the Idaho panhandle and northeastern Washington, surveyor negligence and practice review in these areas and in California.  We also provide expert consulting and expert witness services for boundary and particularly water boundary matters throughout most of the western United States.

Cadastral Surveys

Retracement of Government surveys and subdivisions of sections

Boundary Line Marking

Staking & flagging property lines with intervisible points

Boundary Disputes

Conflicts between neighbors regarding understanding of property boundary locations, existence & location of easements, allowable land use

Boundary Line Agreements

Topographic Surveys

A survey to show the shape (contours) and surface features of the land.  Needed for architectural and/or engineering site design

Often required by local agencies for development applications

Aerial & LiDAR Mapping

Topographic surveying and imaging (photo) of a parcel or parcels of land.  In some instances, a more cost-effective method to perform a topographic survey

Right-of-way & Route Surveys

Determining the locations of existing road, railroad, or utility right-of-way lines or defining the proposed route of those features

Control (Horizontal & Vertical) Surveys

Establishing permanent or semi-permanent points used for reference points to calibrate aerial surveys, to provide staking to guide construction of proposed improvements, or to facilitate future mapping efforts
